Where complexity becomes geometry.

Holography says a strongly-coupled boundary theory can conjure an entire bulk spacetime out of nothing but its own correlations. My work asks what quantum complexity, the resources it takes to prepare a state, has to do with that: whether the depth of the bulk is really tracking how hard the boundary theory is working, and whether gravity itself is a byproduct of that difficulty.

I'm a graduate student in physics at Sharif University of Technology, working at the intersection of quantum information and high-energy theory, mainly on notions of quantum complexity, how they grow, and what they might mean for the emergence of bulk geometry in holography.
